"Tic tack tic tack .. counting down the hours! New Years Eve is here 09/10 (End of a Year, End of a Decade, End of an Era ) -- 2010 is on the horizon, so close that I can feel it's rays crawling through my skin. I look at this day and I find myself filled with happiness, sadness, excitement and melancholy at the same time with tears in my eyes, a smile upon my lips and ache in my heart (for one reason or another). Mixed emotions are running through my mind, my heart & my soul like a teenage girl. Nostalgic memories pushed aside by even stronger desires, dreams and hopes, I know there's more bigger,better and higher things to come. That's what keeps me going. Always ..
Today is the Day to reflect and evaluate not only a past year but an entire decade (what was?, what I've done?, who am I with?, what will?), cause Tonight exactly at midnight (wherever you are), the old year will end and the new one will rise like the Sun (literally), such is life .. I feel a strange sense of relief that tomorrow has arrived ..
